Screen Shot 2014-08-02 at 7.00.50 PM   Dr. Natalie Dorfeld – Being an unexpected spectator is what you find yourself  as with Dr. Dorfeld’s “Learning to Swim“, with the lagging emotions that pull inside your heart, which we all seem to connect with.  However, shedding part ofd those emotions and becoming a new you?  – This is exactly what occurs in “Death of a Perfectionist“.  Yet, each of us have those moments when one thing, of many “things” haunt our memories, haunt our emotions, and we flail for the words.  Dr. Dorfeld manages to find those words in “Iraqi Freedom“.

Starting anew, challenging the past, and becoming a combination of the past and present, Dr. Dorfeld is able to capture the essential moments that any of us have experienced. A more melancholy experience as well, dealing with loss comes through her piece, “Losing a Friend” which we believe is not limited to just fellow human beings, but to friends we make in all forms.  Through each of these writings, we feel you the reader are able to connect with a piece of your past, catching a glimpse of perspectives form outside our own. Thank you for providing the vehicle to travel outside our own Dr. Dorfeld!
